Description

Heavy coated basic type electrode for welding fine grained and high strength structural steels (eg,Bisalloy 80) which have yield strength up to 690N/mm² and tensile strength to 850N/mm². Suitable for welding high strength steels used in fabrications of crane, earth moving equipment, heavy machinery parts. Due to it’s high toughness, crack resistance even under difficult operating conditions such as dynamic loads, high and low environmental temperatures. Weld deposit is of extremely high metallurgical purity and very low hydrogen content. The electrode features a stable and concentrated arc. Especially 2,50 mm and 3,25 mm diameters well suited for easy positional welding. Welds are of ray quality.

High Tensile Steel Applications
Repair of High Strength Steels
Forklift Prongs, Axles, Shafts etc.
Easy Strike and Restrike
Very Smooth Weld Deposit
Standards, Classifications:
AWS/ASME SFA 5.5 E11018-G H4 | DIN 8529 EY 69 75Mn2NiCrMo B H5

Typical Mechanical Properties of Weld metal:
Yield Stress Tensile Strength Elongation Impact Values
700N/mm² 850N/mm² 18% 50J@-60°C

Typical Weld metal Analysis:
C: 0.06% Si: 0.35% Mn: 1.6% Ni: 2.3% Cr: 0.40%
